The forum's topics are mainly based on the editor and *gag* NFTs.
I do find it hard to believe that you were banned for something dumb.Īnother thing, this website is optional and the actual editor isn't a social platform. However I haven't experienced any bans and haven't found anyone banned for talking about beliefs, even "controversial" ones. Daz's forums have a wide range of opinions and perspectives, and I gotta say, it seems to me like you're singling out ones that you don't like.Īlso, were you harassing anyone or just disagreeing? If they banned you for something like stating a harmless opinion, that could potentially be discrimination founded on political beliefs. This site isn't really shoving it in your face, however. I really do think that websites and social medias need to chill out on "picking the good side". So many companies try to be "inclusive" for their image, and it really shows. I don't agree that there shouldn't be representation I think it honestly doesn't harm unless it's shoved in your face. As a trans person, I see too much of this. The site used to be good had some quality meshes for games but now seems like it's rainbow land trying to sell your sick sexual preference rather then any good content for development, it's almost like you have all turned gay and except this garbage on the site, infact the I.T industry seems to be turning gay which is because all your content is now focused around this nonsense new age leftwing politics.įirst off, I agree somewhat. The editor isn't bad once you know what your doing, The website and some of the content has become extremely leftwing recently over the past year and it's quite frankly offensive in sexual content nature, All this gay stuff is now on the site and it's now become some kind of LGBTQ hangout, they ban anyone who says anything about this content now, ignore any tech support requests to remove the content and they keep adding more useless gay content, like gay planets and space ships WHY? tell me why all your content has to be about your sexual preference. The ikea self checkout animation uses a totally standard poser 5 female. I have spotted daz/poser models in various places.
Using daz studio for professional work depends on what type of work you're making and how good you are at hiding your sins. to a point (yes there is a dynamic cloth system, but it is so horribly cludgy it isn't worth using).
Dynamics don't exist so things like clothing and hair are deformed meshes, which work.
The rigs are somewhat simplistic and lack things that are possible in higher grade software (spline based spines, jiggle/muscle deformers, etc.) and I've never had a good experience with fk/ik.
The problems come in when you want to go beyond what daz studio does. Daz has some really nice models, and daz studio is alright for what it does. They are pretty closely related (not surprising since daz started out by making poser content). I have been using daz studio for a few years, and poser for awhile before that.
